Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust – Phlebotomy Service

Our blood testing service operates from three sites within Lincolnshire; John Coupland Hospital, Gainsborough, Skegness Community Hospital and Johnson Community Hospital, Spalding. This service is offered to anyone registered to a GP in the Gainsborough area aged 12 years and over, in the Skegness area aged 12 years and over and Spalding area aged 1 years and over. For Paediatric blood clinics, please use the ‘Paediatric Blood Clinic’ option specified so we can ensure you have appropriate time for your child’s appointment.

We highly recommend looking at availability across all clinics before booking a blood test as many of them have an appointment available within 1 week.

When attending your blood test appointment please ensure you bring a paper version of your blood test form (provided by your GP) otherwise your appointment may be cancelled on the day.

You must arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment time. If you are late your appointment may need to be rescheduled.

If you have symptoms of respiratory illness and have a fever you should not attend clinic until you feel well and the fever has resolved for at least 48 hours.

Please attend your appointment alone unless you need a carer with you.
