Museum of Miami Research Center

Museum of Miami collects, preserves, and provides access to materials that document the Miami region, South Florida and the Caribbean. The Research Center houses Museum of Miami’s Special Collection and non-circulating library, offering a reading room in which researchers may consult the Special and Object collections.

Our collection is largely comprised of donated materials, it is not an official repository. As such, you are encouraged to use our searchable finding aids prior to making an appointment to verify that we hold items relevant to your research.
